Simple Nail Art You Can Do

One of the simplest designs is the Polka Dot manicure. All you need is a dotting tool (or even the end of a bobby pin). After applying a base color, dip your tool in a contrasting polish and gently dot it on your nail. You can create different sizes of dots or even make a pattern. It’s a classic, playful look that’s perfect for any occasion.

Another easy-to-do design is the Half-Moon manicure. This is a modern twist on the classic French manicure. Start with a neutral base color. Once dry, use a contrasting color to paint a semi-circle at the base of your nail, just above the cuticle. The result is a chic, geometric design that looks sophisticated and clean.

For a look that’s both minimalist and elegant, try Striped nails. You can use thin striping tape or a very fine nail art brush. After your base color is dry, apply a thin stripe of a different color down the center of your nail, or get creative with a few vertical or horizontal lines. This design works great with metallic or glitter polishes for extra sparkle.

If you’re a fan of the French manicure but want something different, try the Floating French Tip. Instead of painting the very tip of your nail, paint a thin, floating line a few millimeters below the tip. It creates a modern, artistic look that’s very on-trend.

These simple techniques can help you achieve a unique and personalized manicure at home. If you want a more complex or long-lasting design, our talented technicians at Nails & Beyond are here to help bring your nail art dreams to life.
